Many company leaders become lost in awe of their future digital endeavors and forget the digital challenges of the present. Leaders do need to look to the future. They do, however, fail when they are not able to connect the present to that future and do not take the challenge of the present seriously.

It’s a common understanding that when people telecommute, they are “working” from home, probably sitting in bed watching Netflix while tabbing the computer once in a while to keep the instant messenger button green.
